John Matthew Williams, MD

John Matthew Williams, MD is a fellowship-trained urologist at East Valley Urology Center in Mesa and Queen Creek, AZ. His clinical interests include male sexual dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and male infertility. Dr. Williams is enthusiastic about bringing his expertise to the East Valley.

Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Arts in Molecular & Cellular Biology from Vanderbilt University. He then earned both a Master of Science in Pharmacology and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Williams completed a five-year urology residency at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, LA. Driven by a desire to further specialize, he completed a one-year fellowship in Sexual Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. During fellowship, Dr. Williams gained extensive experience in the medical and surgical management of male sexual dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and male infertility. In addition, he was invited to Salvador, Brazil to perform complex penile implant surgeries at Hospital da Bahia. Dr. Williams has authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented numerous abstracts at national meetings.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Williams enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son, running, grilling, and traveling.
